A major air and land search is under way for a missing American tourist who vanished from her holiday lodge at Aberfeldy.
Susan McLean, aged 61, from Pennsylvania, was last seen on CCTV outside the grounds of Moness Resort in Crieff Road at around 7.45pm on Sunday.
Specialist teams are carrying out extensive searches in the area today as Police Scotland confirm they are “increasingly concerned” for her safety.
Local officers are being supported by Tayside Mountain Rescue teams with search dogs. The police air support unit will also be carrying out searches.
A police spokesman said: “Officers are also carrying out further house-to-house enquiries and will be asking residents in Aberfeldy if they have any information that could assist them with their enquiries.
