UPDATE: Missing Kirkcaldy teenager found safe

A 14-year-old girl who had been missing for two days has been found safe and well.

Amber Drysdale was last seen in the Links Street area of Kirkcaldy at around 3pm on Tuesday.

Police Scotland appealed for information to help trace the youngster, and her family were said to be growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

However, officers confirmed that she had been traced at around 6pm in the Levenmouth area on Thursday.

Anyone with information is asked to phone 101.
