William Hawes, 22, appeared at the city’s sheriff court. He denies that on Tuesday, at Densfield Court, he committed a breach of the peace and was in possession of a knife. Hawes was remanded in custody. A trial date has yet to be set. A second man who was arrested following the incident did not appear in court.
