Rescue teams search Tay after report of man in water

Rescue teams have been searching the Tay following a report of a man in the water.
The coastguard helicopter based at Aberdeen and several lifeboats, including the Broughty Ferry lifeboat are currently out at the Tay Bridge after the alarm was raised at 10:30am..
The bridge was briefly closed but opened as normal after a short period of time.
A spokesperson for the Coastguard said: “We are dealing with an ongoing incident at the Tay Bridge.
“Our helicopter, search teams and several lifeboats are involved following a report of a person in the water.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed they were involved in the search.
