A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following an Angus road accident.
The man’s machine left the A932 Forfar to Arbroath road around 4.30pm.
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance flew to the scene, a few miles east of Forfar and close to Rescobie Loch, to take the injured motorcyclist to Ninewells.
The man had been riding with friends and was seen to be conscious and moving as he was placed into the air ambulance.
The full extent of his injuries is not known but he is not thought to be seriously hurt.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Earlier today another motorcyclist was involved in an accident at the Friockheim junction on the A933 Arbroath to Brechin road.
He is also believed to have escaped serious injury.
