The 31-year-old American has spent the last four seasons playing with Cortina in Italy. Dingle has also played in the ECHL and AHL.
Dingle said: “After four years in Italy, I’m looking forward to a new challenge with the Flyers.
“I am beyond excited to be a part of an organisation that has such rich tradition. I can’t wait to get there and get the season going.”
A Flyers spokesperson added: “We are getting a great two way centre that is going to be looked upon to create offence for this club while being accountable in all three zones.
“He’s a goal scoring centre and they are tough to find. He will be vital in our special teams and will be looked upon to play big minutes week in week out.”
