“You don’t understand how serious this is” Sheriff slams stalker who made sinister mannequin of his ex-girlfriend

A desperate stalker dressed a mannequin made of pillows in his ex-girlfriend’s nurse uniform before pinning on a face “to make it look like her”.

Mark Glass then sent a picture of the bizarre dummy to her via Facebook.

In another incident Glass turned up outside the nurse’s workplace clutching flowers and a teddy bear.

Dundee Sheriff Court he had already bombarded her with unwanted phone calls and Facebook messages.

His ex changed her phone number, but called the police after receiving the picture of the sinister mannequin he had created.

Glass, 20, of Crossgate, Cupar faces up to a year in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of stalking between December 2014 and February 2015.

Sheriff Alastair Carmichael said: “I don’t think you understand just how serious this is.

“You are on the cusp of a custodial sentence.”

Sentence was deferred until later this month.
