A 14-year-old girl has been charged by police officers following an incident at Menzieshill High School in Dundee.
It’s understood the teenager has been charged with using “threatening and abusive behaviour” during the incident.
Police officers and an ambulance were contacted and went to the school in Yarrow Terrace at about midday on Wednesday.
Ambulance staff later confirmed they were not needed to transport anyone to hospital and Police Scotland said no one was injured as a result of what they described as “a disturbance”.
A city council spokesman said: “Following an incident at the school, Police Scotland were called.”
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 14-year-old girl has been charged in connection with the incident, enquiries are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Youth Justice Assessor for consideration.”
