A Kirkcaldy woman will stand trial accused of falsely claiming more than £20,000 in disability benefits.
Kerry Rennie appeared at court on Monday and denied scamming £21,251.90 in disability living allowance between March 19 2010 and May 24 2014.
She allegedly made false statements that her “mobility was severely restricted, that she was in constant pain and needed assistance with the activities of everyday life”.
Prosecutors allege her mobility was not severely restricted and she was employed as a sheltered housing officer with Fife Council.
Rennie, 41, pleaded not guilty to a charge under the Social Security Administration Act.
