Christopher McMultan (40) and Brian Martin (57) faced the allegations during a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow. The pair are accused of terrorising Sarah Gloag and her husband Sundeep Salins at their Kinfaus House home near Perth on January 19 this year. It is claimed they went into the property masked and armed before assaulting the couple and two children also there. Prosecutors allege McMultan and Martin bound the hands and feet of all four with tape then brandished knives at them. It is said the duo stole £4000 and a quantity of jewellery. They are accused of then failing to stop their car when ordered by police. The indictment also states a bag containing jewellery from the alleged raid was thrown out the vehicle’s window. Lawyers have entered not guilty pleas and a trial will be held in November. * For more on this story see Friday’s Courier or try our digital edition.
