Dundee give green light to Craig Wighton’s Raith loan move

Dundee have given the final green light to allow Craig Wighton to go on loan to Raith Rovers.
Courier Sport revealed last week that the highly-rated teenage striker was set to head to Stark’s Park.
However, while a deal had been agreed between the two clubs, Rovers were still waiting for it to be rubber-stamped by the Dark Blues.
On Thursday, Raith boss Ray McKinnon admitted that he would be delighted if his club managed to bring Wighton in but he said the move was “not done and dusted”.
However, the deal has now been sealed with Wighton who spent a month farmed out at McKinnon’s former club Brechin last season starting next season in Kirkcaldy on a six-month loan with a call-back.
