Classmates gather for colourful tribute to A92 accident victim Logan Carrie
ByCharlene Wilson
Classmates of Logan Carrie, who died aged nine after an accident on the A92, have gathered for a special memorial service.
The P4 pupil at Pitcoudie Primary School in Glenrothes died in February after being struck by a car as he attempted to cross a busy stretch of the road. His fellow pupils unveiled a wooden train filled with flowers in memory of their friend, who was a huge Thomas the Tank Engine fan.
His grief-stricken family attended the service and watched as colourful balloons were released into the skies above in his memory.
Since Logan’s death they have been campaigning for safety improvements on the A92 and will meet Infrastructure Secretary Keith Brown at Holyrood on June 25.
