A Tayside model has been hand-picked to showcase a new yacht in the south of France.
Elaine Harris, from Forfar, has been chosen as the face of Glider Yachts as they launch a £100 million prototype in Monaco later this year.
The 33-year-old will promote the SS18, which has been developed using techniques from Formula One, to the billionaires and playboys of the Cote D’Azur later this year.
Elaine said: “I am thrilled to be the face of such a prestigious company and to join such a dynamic team.
“Glider Yachts are pushing the boundaries in the boating world and I feel privileged to be there in Monaco in September when they unveil their SS18 high-performance super yacht prototype.”
The appointment marks an already meteoric rise for the former Dundee resident, who only began modelling aged 31 after a career in marketing.
“My life is still a whirlwind and my career is going from strength to strength,” she said.
“I have lots of amazing projects in the pipeline and I feel very excited about the future.”
The beauty queen was a finalist in Top Model UK 2014 and joined the grand finalists selection panel for 2015.
Elaine’s modelling career took off after reaching the finals last year and she recently modelled for Kolchagov Barba at London Fashion Week.
She has also been snapped by companies across the world, with American Fashion Couture magazine being the latest publication to run a feature on her remarkable rise.
