The single vehicle accident happened just before 6.30am near to Inchmichael by Errolon the Perth bound carriageway. Two Scottish Fire and Rescue Service units from Dundee attended and used hydraulic cutting gear to release the man. A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said they took the casualty to hospital. “A male in his 40s was conveyed to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, with non-life-threatening injuries,” he said. The accident closed the road for a time and then reopened as a single lane while the accident was investigated.
