An Angus man who admitted a drink-driving charge at trial had already been banned for a similar offence, a court heard.
Adam Boron, 51, from Fruithill in Forfar, drove in the town’s Dundee Road and nearby A90 before officers stopped him and discovered he was over the limit.
Solicitor Lynne Sturrock admitted: “At the time of this incident there were no convictions, but there has subsequently been one for drink-driving he was banned for 16 months at Dundee in February.”
Sheriff Di Emidio banned Boron for another 15 months and imposed a one-year community payback order with 140 hours of unpaid work.
