Kirkcaldy woman’s death still ‘unexplained’

Mystery still surrounds the death of a 45-year-old Kirkcaldy sports therapist, more than a week after her body was found in her Dens Wharf flat.

Jennifer Edwards’ body was found on June 14.

Police Scotland said her death remains “unexplained” at present.

Ms Edwards was originally from New Zealand.

It is understood she had separated from her husband and that he has sole custody of their children.

Kelly Johnston, owner of the nearby Wynd Pub told The Daily Record: “She was a talented and educated woman, when she focused.

“She was a well-travelled, well-cultured and a very confident woman – but we all know she had prolems in recent years.”
