Police probe after elderly man’s death

Police are investigating a sudden death in St Mary’s in Dundee.

Officers were seen removing items from the St Mungo Terrace home.

It is understood the person who died was an elderly man.

A police spokeswoman said officers were dealing with a “routine matter” and refused to give any more information about the incident.

Shocked residents contacted The Courier after the large police presence turned up.

A CID officer at the scene also refused to speak to the Courier.
