A little girl who won her battle with cancer led a pink army against the disease.
Amelia Gray, 3, and sister Rhian, 4, sounded the klaxon to start Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life in Kirkcaldy.
Their mum Amanda was among almost 2,000 women dressed in pink who ran or walked 10k and 5k events in Beveridge Park.
Amelia was diagnosed with rare childhood cancer neuroblastoma last September but got the all-clear in March.Click here for a full photo galleryAmanda, 38, who raised £515 in the 10k race, said: “The girls had a great time going on stage and sounding the horn to start the race.
“Cancer Research UK is a charity very close to our hearts and so we were really happy to be involved.”
Fellow survivor Carole Smith, 67, of Rosyth, started the 5k race.
