Porters gathered at Ninewells this morning for a back-to-work meeting with NHS Tayside bosses. A large number of the 114 staff who have been on strike for 12 weeks are expected to resume duties by the weekend. The remainder will have returned to work by Monday, ending four months of industrial action. Strike action was officially called-off on Tuesday after Unite members accepted by a compromise pay deal.
