Man convicted of sex act on Dundee bus to appeal sentence
ByThe Courier Reporter
A Dundee man who was jailed after he engaged in a sex act on a public bus is appealing against his sentence.
Garry McNair, 39, took part in the act with Alexis Watson in full view of horrified passengers on the No 28 service between the Seagate and Lochee High Street.
The pair ignored other travellers, who pleaded with them to stop and continued for three-and-a-half minutes.
McNair and Watson were both jailed for five months and placed on the sex offenders register, after admitting a charge of public indecency at Dundee Sheriff Court in April.
Now, McNair is now appealing against that sentence, with his case to be heard at the High Court in Edinburgh next week.
