Alexander Sturrock made no plea nor declaration when he appeared from custody at Forfar Sheriff Court. He was committed for further examination and released on bail with no date given for his next court appearance. The petition case follows a drugs bust in Monifieth by police on Sunday after an intelligence-led initiative. Officers enforced a warrant and Class A controlled drugs with an estimated street value of £35,000 were recovered.
