A car has overturned on the M90 south of Perth during rush hour as drivers struggled to cope with treacherous weather conditions.
Emergency services were called to the scene near junction 10 Craigend at around 8.10am amid reports a vehicle was on its roof.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said the driver suffered a minor injury and was treated by paramedics, although the incident caused long tailbacks in and around the area as one lane was closed.
The vehicle was moved to the hard shoulder in a bid to ease the traffic congestion.
Heavy rain in the area overnight and through the morning led to surface water and poor visibility in many places, with the Met Office issuing a red flood alert warning for Perthshire.
