Police in Fife have discovered the body of a man in their search for missing 86-year-old Robert Johnstone. Officers found the body on the outskirts of Kennoway around 11.30am today. Although the body has not been formally identified, Mr Johnstone’s family have been informed. Mr Johnstone, who had Alzheimer’s disease and angina, hadnot been seen since Wednesday evening. The pensioner left a friend’s house in Bonnybank at around 7.15pm on Wednesday and was last spotted on Cupar Road. A helicopter and search dog team had been helping with the search.
