This year’s games have been cancelled due to ongoing venue improvements. They will return next year. The Killin Highland Games, a popular staple in the games circuit for 23 years, were due to take place at Breadalbane Park on Wednesday August 5. On behalf of the organisers, Charlie Grant said: “Our venue has undergone refurbishment and welcomed improvements. “However, the ground needs time to dry out before it can take a volume of visitors. “Unfortunately this cannot take place before August 5. “We are therefore very sorry that this year’s games cannot go ahead, but look forward to seeing everyone in 2016.” Next year’s games will be August 3.
