Police appeal after assault and attempted robbery in Perth city centre

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman assaulted a 21-year-old female at a Perth cash machine.
Although no money was taken, the victim suffered a sprained wrist as a result of the incident at the ATM.
The incident took place in South Street, near the junction of King Street/County Place, between 7pm and 7.15pm on Sunday.
Officers are keen to trace a man and two women who came to the assistance of the victim shortly after the incident.
The woman responsible for the assault is described as being about 25 to 35 years-old and of heavy build. She was in the company of another woman, also described as being about 25-35-years-old of heavy build and who was wearing a black rucksack at the time.
Anyone who has information that could assist officers with their enquiries is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
