Police are investigating after a 27-year-old man was assaulted in Dundee city centre.
The victim was attacked at the junction of Reform Street and Meadowside on Saturday.
The man was walking with friends at about 1am when they were approached by three men and the victim was assaulted by one of the men.
He was taken to hospital for treatment for a head injury before being discharged.
The suspect is described as being about 6 feet tall, early twenties and of skinny build. He was wearing a burgundy jumper and denim jeans.
One of the other men is described as being about 5’6” or 5’7”, early twenties wearing a black beanie hat with long dark brown hair underneath, facial hair and a black sweater.
The other man is described as being about 5’9” or 5’10” with short hair and facial hair which was red/auburn in colour. He was wearing a red t-shirt.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer.
