The Dens midfielder has been subject to a 16-week restriction of liberty order following a third conviction for police assault in April. That made him unavailable for night matches, with the curfew meaning he had to be at home from the hours of 7pm and 7am. That order has now ended and the 27-year-old will be able to face the Tangerines in next Tuesday’s first city clash of the season. Meanwhile, James McPake and Nicky Low will both be available for Saturday’s home game against Hearts. McPake missed the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock because of suspension and Low has been nursing a bruised foot. Manager Paul Hartley said: “McPake will be back and so, too, will Nicky Low. “We were strong on the pitch at Killie but so was our bench. It will be the same again against Hearts.”
