Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the recovery of a man’s body off the coast of St Andrews on Tuesday evening. The remains were recovered from the sea by a lifeboat crew from Broughty Ferry shortly after 7.15pm. Details of the man’s identity have not been released. A spokesperson for the RNLI said a helicopter from Aberdeen was also flown above the West Sands to assist with the search.
