Kirkcaldy-born Allan Anderson will play for both Kirkcaldy Kestrels and Fife Flyers this season after being awarded a two-way contract.
The 26-year-old first iced for the Kestrels during the 2011/12 season and spent the last campaign with the Flyers on a full-time contract.
The forward said: “I’m excited for the season ahead and looking forward to playing in front of the Kestrels and Flyers crowds.
“It’s great to be playing for my local teams, who are competitive sides at their respective levels. I have no doubt that the additional ice time will make me a stronger player.”
Head coach Todd Dutiaume explained: “Being on a two-way contract will maximise the ice time Allan gets and will make him a better player.”
