Vistaprint owner in £20m deal for Dundee trade printing firm
ByThe Courier Reporter
The owners of Vistaprint has snapped up a Dundee trade printing company in a £20 million-plus deal.
More than 100 jobs at Wester Gourdie-based Fairprint have been secured as a result of the deal by Cimpress.
The local firm – which won the Digital Business of the Year title at the 2014 Courier Business Awards – will now sit alongside the likes of Vistaprint and pagemodo as part of the NASDAQ-listed firm’s brand portfolio.
Fairprint, whose lead brand is Tradeprint, is currently recruiting for a range of roles within the Dundee operation and expects to grow further in the months ahead as its integration into the Cimpress stable is complete.
