ByNews reporter
Police are appealing for witnesses following a number of break-ins to garden sheds and business premises in north-east Fife.
Officers are investigating seven incidents in the Falkland and Auchtermuchty areas.
Thieves have targeted buildings in Back Dykes Terrace, South Street West and High Street, Cupar Road and Distillery Street over the last two weeks.
Power tools and an archery set are amongst the things that were stolen during the raids.
Police are urging anyone who can help with their inquiry to come forward.
Detective Constable Andy Robertson said: “We are currently investigating to establish if these incidents are linked and I would ask anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity around these areas over the past two weeks contacts police immediately.
“I would also ask that home and business owners continue to ensure they have appropriate security measures in place at their properties.
