Officers attended at an address in the town’s Bonnygate area following the shocking incident. The alarm had been raised at around 10.45am on Sunday when Police Scotland received reports of concern for the young man. Paramedics rushed to the scene amid concern for the man who was said to be suffering a medical episode. However the man died soon after the ambulance was summoned. A spokesman for Police Scotland, Fife division, confirmed the sudden death. They said: “Police in Fife were called to an address in Cupar at around 10:45am today following a report of concern for a man in the Bonnygate area. “Officers attended the property where they found a 21-year-old man who appeared to be suffering from a medically related matter. “An ambulance was called but the man sadly passed away a short time later. “As with all cases of sudden death a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
