Emergency services were called to the M9 motorway at the M876 junction – Kincardine slip road – at 11.15pm on Thursday. A 54-year-old man was taken to the Forth Valley Hospital at Larbert, where he died. Police said the M9 Eastbound and the M876 eastbound would remain closed for some time while collision investigations were completed. Traffic is being diverted on to the M80 at Junction 9. Police have appealed for information from anyone who can help police with their investigation into the incident.
