Forfar boss Dick Campbell is set to field the same starting XI for the third week in succession against Albion Rovers at Station Park today.
The Loons have made a perfect start to the campaign having won their first three competitive matches including last week’s Ladbrokes league opener against Airdrie.
They will start as firm favourites against Rovers, who won promotion last season.
However, Campbell insists his players will be taking nothing for granted against a team who shocked Ayr United last week, winning 3-0 at Cliftonhill.
This afternoon’s game is the first of four at home for Forfar in just 10 days and Campbell admits that while he is delighted with his settled side, he may have to freshen things up during the upcoming hectic schedule.
He said: “I thought we were really good in the first half against Airdrie last week and we probably should have been more than one up at the break.
“Overall I am delighted with the start we have made to the season and I will go with the same team once again for the game with Albion Rovers who also had a good result last week.
“It seems strange so early in the season but after this weekend’s game I may have to freshen things up.
“It is something I will have to look at as we have four games in just 10 days.
“Of course, that’s because we are still in the Petrofac and League Cup so it is a nice headache to have.
“I am very happy with my squad but I am still in the market for another striker so we will just have to wait and see on that score.”
Young defender Michael Kennedy will miss the Albion Rovers game through injury.
