Elderly man’s car overturns in Perthshire accident

An elderly man escaped serious injury today when his car overturned on to its roof in Highland Perthshire.

The incident happened at 12.15pm on the B846 at Tummel Bridge.

A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said they received a 999 call and that the man had been freed from the car before they arrived.

“The car had overturned on to its roof,” he said.

“An elderly man was treated by paramedics at the scene, but his injuries were relatively minor.”
