One person has died following an incident on the A90 at Stracathro in the early hours of Friday morning. Two vehicles were involved in the incident but it is understood the casualty was a pedestrian. Witnesses claim the man was naked at the time of the incident, which occurred around 2.25am. The road was closed in both directions for over 12 hours, eventually reopening fully at around 3.45pm. A spokesman said: “Police can confirm that sadly a man has died following a road traffic collision at Stracathro on the A90. “No further details are available until next of kin have been informed.” For more on this story, see Saturday’s Courier or try our digital edition.
