Seagull parents have been dive-bombing Perth council staff in a bid to protect their chick. A pair of lesser black-backed gulls has nested near Pullar House and the birds’ chick has now fledged. It is often found wandering between Kinnoull Street car park and the adjacent entrance to Pullar House. A council spokesman said: “The parent birds are still very protective of the chick and dive bomb anyone who gets too close to it.”
