Work to resurface the Tay Road Bridge walkway is to begin next week. Glass-reinforced panels will be installed by Raynesway Construction Ltd in a 10-week contract costing £463,995. The move follows what is described as a “successful” two-year trial of the non-slip material. Bridge chiefs say pedestrian and cycle access will be maintained throughout the works, although they will be asked to take extra care. The work is due to start on Monday.
