Two vehicles collided on the eastbound carriageway of the A90 about 200 yards east of Longforgan about 7am. There were long tailbacks from the blockage on the offside lane on the approach to Bullionfield. No one was hurt, but police had to work for more than an hour to clear the site. Traffic took up to 25 minutes to crawl past the scene of the smash. The cars involved were a Ford Ka and a Seat estate, neither of which was carrying any passengers. Police said the incident was cleared by 9am but traffic was still heavy towards the Swallow roundabout at 9.30am.
