A tattooed man is being hunted by police in connection with an indecent incident on a train.
Officers at the British Transport Police (BTP) believe the man could have vital information about an offence that took place on a journey between Edinburgh and Perth.
They have released a CCTV image of the man they are looking for and are urging anyone who recognises him to contact them.
The incident occurred on Sunday, August 16 on board the 12pm service from Kings Cross to Inverness, on the leg between Edinburgh and Perth.
The man is described as being aged in his 40s, approximately 6 feet in height, with a large build and a shaved head. He has tattoos on both arms and at the time of the incident was wearing blue jeans, blue trainers and a black and white polo shirt with a checkered band and a logo.
Detective Constable Andrew Egan, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in the photograph to contact me as a matter of urgency.”
