Car flipped on to its side in Strathern Road crash

A car was flipped on to its side in a dramatic crash on a busy Dundee street this afternoon.

The crash, between a grey Nissan Micra and a black Honda Civic, occurred at the junction of Fairfield road and Strathern Road in Broughty Ferry just after midday.

One local resident, Sandra Robinson, described hearing a loud crash.

She said: “I looked out of my bedroom window after I heard a big bang.

“That was when I saw all the blue flashing lights and wondered what had happened.

“I just hope everyone involved is OK.”
