Fans of Stevie McCrorie will see this weekend whether the singing firefighter blazes through to the live finals of The Voice.
The 29-year-old, who is odds on favourite to win the BBC One talent show, will be seen battling to become one of coach Ricky Wilson’s final three tomorrow evening.
Stevie, of Kirkcaldy Fire Station’s Blue Watch, sings U2’s I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For in the last knockout round episode after making it through the battle stage.
Stevie, who lives in Alva, Clackmannanshire, with wife Amy and daughter Bibi, 2, has refused to be drawn on whether he is selected on the pre-recorded show.
However, if he is successful he will have to decamp to London to focus on the live finals which will see viewers vote for their favourite artist.
Stevie made an impact in his first appearance on the show, when all four judges turned around for him in his blind audition.
In his second appearance he beat fellow contestant Tim Arnold in a sing-off.
On tomorrow’s show, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky and Sir Tom Jones will be seen pitting their remaining eight contestants against each other and whittling their teams down to three.
Tomorrow’s show starts at 7.45pm.
