A birthday party ended in a street altercation during which a woman, her father and her partner were all assaulted, Dunfermline Sheriff Court has heard.
Samantha Lamb was grabbed by the throat, her father knocked unconscious and her partner punched to the ground.
Ryan Paterson, 21, of Abbey Street, High Valleyfield, was found guilty of the assaults after a trial.
The incident took place on August 10 2014 at the Valley Bar, High Valleyfield, when a large group had gathered outside at closing time.
Paterson was found guilty of assaulting Samantha Lamb by seizing her by the neck, assaulting her father Andrew Lamb by punching him on the head, causing him to fall to the ground, striking his head on the pavement and losing consciousness, to his injury.
He was also found guilty of assaulting William Anderson by punching him on the head, causing him to fall to the ground, to his injury.
Paterson claimed others had been responsible for the assaults.
Depute fiscal Anthony Steele said the defence witnesses were “extremely unreliable and incredible” and had given different versions of events.
Defence solicitor Sarah Meehan had said it was accepted “something happened to the complainers but it is not clear who was responsible”.
Paterson will be sentenced next month.
