Police hunting a man who indecently assaulted a 13-year-old boy in Templeton Woods have issued an appeal to trace vehicles seen in the area at the time.
Officers are looking to trace the drivers of a blue car, red car and a small white van which were parked in the visitor centre between 4.30pm and 6pm on Monday.
They are also keen to speak to a dog walker in relation to the assault. The dog walker, believed to be a witness, is described as being in his thirties and was seen in the area at the time of the incident and had spoken to the boy following the assault. He was walking a black and white bulldog terrier type dog and a not bulldog as previously stated.
Officers would also like to speak to all joggers who were running within the woods and any youths who were at the BMX track between 4.30pm and 6pm.
The boy was cycling on the green trail near to the Ranger Station sometime between 5pm and 5.30pm when he was approached by a man who indecently assaulted him.
The suspect is described as being five feet two inches tall, of medium to large build, his hair was white/grey in colour but was balding. He was wearing a beige coloured lightweight jacket with collar and pockets, blue jeans, a red jumper and brown dress shoes.
