A 16-year-old man has been charged in connection with spate of vandalism to motor vehicles in Fife.
The teenager is accused of 78 separate cases in the Lochgelly area in 11 months.
Sergeant Jim Westwood, from Cowdenbeath Police station, said: “Thanks to the excellent response received from the local community, we have been able to detect 78 separate vandalisms in the Lochgelly area over the last 11 months.
“A 16-year-old man has now been charged with these crimes and a report sent to the Procurator Fiscal. I would once again appeal for any information from the community in relation to any crimes in the area.”
