Forfar Academy pupil tragically dies of asthma attack

An Angus schoolboy has died tragically of an asthma attack, classmates have been told.

Forfar Academy sixth year pupil Theo-James Droog died on Wednesday at his home after a long period of ill health.

And his classmates were told about the tragedy by head teacher Melvyn Lynch in a special assembly the next day.

Tributes were paid to the “much missed” 17-year-old at the assembly and online.

Theo’s funeral will be held at the East & Old Parish Church, Forfar on January 15.
