Most children at Langlands Primary School in Forfar are continuing to stay away in the wake of the norovirus outbreak.
Angus Council said that 330 primary school and 25 nursery class children did not attend the school this morning. 13 members of staff were also absent.
A total of 119 P1-7 pupils attended at school on Friday, some of those returning after a period of absence.
The number of children who have been reported as being symptomatic of norovirus since Tuesday is now 120.
A council spokesman said: “Angus Council continues to work with partner agencies, including NHS Tayside public health officials, and is closely monitoring the situation.
“Extensive deep cleaning of the school is taking place during the day and into the evening and will continue to be undertaken until further notice.”
The outbreak first became apparent when several children started being sick before the school nativity on Tuesday evening.
