Stalker admits subjecting woman to six-month ordeal

A man targeted a Fife woman over a six-month period, Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard.

Robert Lambert, 60, of Alexandra Road, Ashington, admitted that between September 1 last year and February 27 at addresses in North Queensferry, Rosyth and elsewhere in Fife, he caused a woman fear or alarm by repeatedly contacting her via text messages, telephone and social networking sites.

Lambert also admitted sending messages to a man via Facebook that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character, and sending unsolicited naked images of the woman.

Sheriff Charles Macnair refused Lambert bail and sentence was deferred to November 25.
