Planners have refused permission for a wind turbine on farmland in Guthrie.
James Coventry had applied for consent to build a 48.8-metre unit from ground to blade tip near Greens of Gardyne Cottages, around 1.4km east of an operational turbine at Pickerton and 1km east of an approved one at Dubton.
The 100kW turbine was refused by delegated decision with officers citing “unacceptable” cumulative impact as reason for refusal.
Planners commented: “Cumulative landscape and visual impacts associated with the development are considered to be significant and unacceptable, contrary to development plan policy and council guidance.”
