Flights between Dundee Airport and London City saw passenger numbers rise 6% last month, according to operator HIAL.
The publicly-owned company said it was stepping up efforts to promote its 11 sites throughout the Highlands and Islands, and had attended the Routes Europe Conference in Budapest earlier this month to promote opportunities.
Head of business development Lynda Johnston, who attended the conference in Hungary, said she was “confident” she had raised the profile of airports including Dundee with key decision makers.
Passenger numbers at the Riverside airport fell 51% last month, though the figure includes the impact of the cancellation of routes to Belfast and Birmingham late last year.
